Arwy guide: Settings and your subscription

You'll reach Settings from the gear icon on your profile. It's organized into neat groups so you never have to hunt. Let's go through them.

Account

Manage the basics of your account — your email, and your phone number, which you can add and verify by SMS. Verifying your phone keeps your account more secure and unlocks future features.

Profile

Edit your name, username, bio, profile and cover photos, and social links. The save button up top lights up only when you've changed something. (See the Profile guide.)

Security

Change your password, and — handy one — there's a "forgot password" link right here that works even while you're logged in. If you signed up with Google, you can add a password so you can also log in with email.

Privacy

Your safety controls live here, including Blocked users — the place to review and unblock anyone you've blocked. Blocking on Arwy is two-way and thorough, and this is where you reverse it.

Appearance

Choose your theme: System default, Light, or Dark. The dark theme is a true AMOLED black — gorgeous and gentle for night reading. The switch is instant; no restart needed.

Downloads

Everything you've saved for offline reading lives here, ready to read with no signal. Manage your downloads and free up space as you like.

Notifications

Fine-tune which push notifications reach your phone, type by type. (See the Notifications guide.)

Your subscription

The "My Subscription" area shows your current plan and lets you explore the others. Arwy has five tiers:

• Free — read, write, match and more, with ads and daily limits.
• Plus — no ads, more daily matches, text-to-speech, the proximity filter.
• Premium — adds translation, offline downloads, the gender filter, and more matches.
• Elite — adds AI spell-check and higher limits, including daily swipes.
• Elite+ — the top tier: unlimited daily matches and the highest swipe limit.

Upgrading is instant; your new plan's perks apply right away. To switch to a lower tier, Arwy points you to manage it in Google Play (Play handles the change at your next renewal). It's all honest and clearly labeled — no hidden "coming soon" promises. (For the philosophy behind it all, see why we built Arwy.)
